X-rays, Scans and ECGs

If you need an X-ray or scan you will need a referral form signed by a doctor, which we can provide at a consultation with us. We can organise the following investigations often same day or within a few days:

• X-rays

• CT scans

• MRI scans

• Ultrasound scans

• DEXA scans (bone density)

We have our own ultrasound scanner in house which we can use during consultations if required, often speeding up the process of diagnosis. If a more detailed scan is required we can organise this rapidly.

Our X-ray and scan facilities are based 500m away in the Spire hospital and also in Altrincham at the diagnostic centre.

If you have Private Health Insurance this will usually cover the cost of the scan (depending on your policy)

We have two modern computerised ECG (electrocardiograph) machines for heart examinations. If you are worried about your heart, have a family history of heart disease or are having an insurance or employment medical with us we can do your ECG immediately in house.
