Blood Tests

We offer a full range of private laboratory tests for blood, urine, swabs etc. We work with a top quality private laboratory to provide a comprehensive range of tests including those available on eth NHS and many more which are not.

Our tests fall into two categories – Patient requested and Doctor requested.  

Patient requested tests consist of a range of  commonly used tests that patients may wish to ask for themselves on a confidential basis or may have been asked to get by an employer. Most tests are not available ‘on demand’ from the NHS but can be requested with us at your consultation.

The tests are conveniently split into groups and include allergy screens,  thyroid tests, diabetes tests, hepatitis status, sexually transmitted disease screening, prostate, fertility and miscarriage, menopause and many more. See the links below for the range of Patient Requested tests.

Doctor requested tests consist of the full range of laboratory services which we may need to help diagnose your problem. There are hundreds of tests available to us and we will recommend which tests would be appropriate to investigate your condition, along with X-rays and scans where appropriate.

Blood samples are taken by the doctor during your consultation and sent to our lab for analysis. For most tests, results are available in two or three days and we will contact you when they arrive.
Results are entirely confidential and not shared with anyone else except on your instructions.
